Mental Health News Flashes
MongoMongo (aka Mark Oberg) is the President and founder of Walkers in Darkness, Inc. He has been involved in mental health support since the mid-90's and started WalkersWeb after taking over the Walkers in Darkness mailing list from its founder, Dave Harmon, in 1996. "When I retired and got a little stronger, I found that I had to do something to occupy my mind and contribute to society. When I heard that Dave (Harmon) was ready to give up on Walkers, I knew that I had the right mix of interest and skills to make a difference to other people like myself. Walkers has helped many thousands of people, but it has also helped me the most of all because it gives me a purpose and a reason to look forward to another day."
